ABSTRACT: An accurate local bond-slip model
is of fundamental importance in the modelling of FRP-strengthened
RC structures. In this paper, a review of existing bond strength
models and bond-slip models is first presented. These models are
then assessed using the results of 253 pull tests on simple FRP-to-concrete
bonded joints, leading to the conclusion that a more accurate
model is required. In the second half of the paper, a set of three
new bond-slip models of different levels of sophistication are
proposed. A unique feature of the present work is that the new
bond-slip models are not based on axial strain measurements on
the FRP plate; instead, they are based on the predictions of a
meso-scale finite element model, with appropriate adjustment to
match their predictions with the experimental results for a few
key parameters. Through comparisons with the large test database,
all three bond-slip models are shown to provide accurate predictions
of both the bond strength (i.e. ultimate load) and the strain
distribution in the FRP plate.

摘 要:FRP-混凝土界面的粘结滑移关系是FRP加固混凝土结构受力分析的基础。由于FRP-混凝土界面受力情况的特殊性,通常很难通过试验直接获得粘结滑移关系,因而现有的粘结滑移本构模型或多或少存在一些问题。本文根据作者提出的细观单元有限元研究的结果,建议了一组新的界面本构模型以及界面剥离强度计算公式。根据本构模型简化程度不同,分别命名为:精确模型、简化模型和双线性模型。其中精确模型可以考虑不同界面胶层刚度的影响,简化模型和双线性模型则适用于一般界面粘结胶层。通过与大量界面试验结果的对比表明,本文建议的模型可以准确预测界面的剥离强度和剥离过程,且精度优于现有各模型。

Abstract:The
local FRP-to-concrete bond-slip model is the fundamental relation
to analyse the behaviour of FRP-strengthened RC structures. In
this paper, a group of new models are presented based on the predictions
of a meso-scale finite element model. These models are named as
Precise Model, Simplified Model and Bilinear Model respectively
according to different levels of sophistication. Among them, the
Precise Model can consider different stiffness of adhesive layer,
while Simplified Model and Bilinear Model are suitable for normal
adhesive layer. Through comparisons with the large test database,
the suggested bond-slip models are shown to provide more accurate
predictions of both the bond strength and the strain distribution
in the FRP sheet than the existing models.
